Common questions
- What mixes and limits does it cover?
- Oxygen fractions from 21% to 50%, and partial pressure limits from 1.0 to 1.6 ata in steps of 0.1. That covers the recreational nitrox range. It defaults to 21% at 1.4 ata in meters.
- Which devices are supported?
- iPhone running iOS 17 or later, in portrait.
- Does it need an internet connection?
- No. The calculation runs entirely on your device, which matters on a boat with no signal. Your mix, limit and unit choice are stored locally and nowhere else.
- Why does the readout stop at 999?
- There are three nixie tubes. Any mix and limit you would actually dive lands far below that ceiling.
- Can I use this instead of nitrox training?
- No. It is a calculator for divers who are already certified to plan nitrox dives. It does not teach you the limits, and it does not know your dive plan, your gas management, or the conditions you are in.
- How do I get a refund?
